We are a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Our highly qualified staff of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals possess the expertise to deliver the highest level of care.
Our facility is uniquely designed to provide long-term acute care to patients with complex medical conditions who require an extended hospital stay - usually 25 days or more.

WHO WE HELP
Who is eligible to become a patient?
ACCH by their physicians, nurse, case manager or social worker directly from a hospital-based care unit. Prior to approval for admission, a clinical evaluation is conducted by the ACCH clinical liaison.
Arkansas Continued Care Hospital accepts patients 18 years+ with various medical conditions and physical disabilities.
Patients are typically referred to

Around-the-clock critical-care nursing & respiratory professionals, providing bedside & central monitoring of cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate & blood pressure
Ventilator program
Tracheostomy placement at bedside
PEG placement at bedside

Any of the following can indicate LTACH (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital) may be right for you.
Newly on-set or chronic complex medical condition that requires at least 10-25 days of aggressive acute care
Foreseeable 5+ day hospital stay or 3+ nights in ICU
Require long-term IV antibiotics
Require TPN
Complex wound-care
Need of physical, occupational and speech therapy due to the effects of neurological problems, such as strokes, transient ischemic attacks, encephalopathy or Parkinson’s disease
Musculoskeletal issues after undergoing joint replacements or amputations, suffering fractures, or for long-term traction
High oxygen needs
No longer require traditional short-term hospital stay, but aren’t ready for home or nursing home
